Come As You Are.
Most Yoga classes are offered at Prakrti and within the Virtual Wellness Studio.
All Prakrti classes require registration due to limited space and my desire to make each session truly accessible to all participants. Registration allows me to make any necessary preparations for individuals who may need special assistance for unique circumstances. Everyone is welcome at Prakrti.
You can see the descriptions of each class by utilizing the studio’s Google Calendar.

Ayurveda and Yoga are complementary systems of health and wellness that originated in India over 5000 years ago. Ayurveda focuses on the five elements of nature and the individual’s unique needs, while Yoga offers a way to address those needs through specific postures and breathing techniques. AyurYoga integrates these two systems to support the self-healing process within the body, mind, and consciousness while achieving physical and mental wellbeing.

Hatha Yoga is considered as anything done with the body, including: asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra, shatkriyas and shatkarmas, and visualization. Our sessions typically involve a warm up flow or stress relieving spinal series followed by a set of long, static held physical postures with focus on breath connection. This allows the practitioner to truly feel into every pose, allowing for heightened self-awareness. Other techniques are also implemented so that the full efficacy of practice can be experienced.

Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Monday 12:30 p.m.

Self-myofascial release relieves tension in the connective tissues that surround and support your muscles throughout the body. Exercise, injury, poor posture, connective tissue diseases such as EDS/LDS, and fibromyalgia can cause these tissues to become tight or develop painful knots (trigger points). MFR helps to release these tight areas by applying pressure to the myofascial tissue, promoting relaxation, improving blood flow, and enhancing the body’s natural healing processes.

Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Wednesday 7:30 p.m.

Qi Gong Yoga Fusion Flow is a unique moving meditation designed to harmonize the body’s energy systems. By blending structured poses with fluid, circular movements, this class offers a comprehensive approach to physical and energetic well-being. You will move beyond linear stretching to release tension in joints and fascia; use breath to circulate life force and energy throughout the meridians; balance heat-building strength with effortless action; and leave feeling centered, vibrant, and deeply relaxed.

Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing practice. While your body is supported by props, the muscles are learning the imprints from how the props are supporting them so that you can find a deep, restful stretch. This practice activates healing processes within the nervous system through active restoration. It allows the body to find spaces in shapes that are rejuvenating. Restorative yoga is a great addition to a regular vinyasa or hatha practice.
Small Group Studio Session: Friday 7:30 p.m.
Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Tuesday 2:00 p.m.

Slow down and surrender. This class is a dedicated sanctuary for your nervous system. We begin with Restorative Yoga, using bolsters and blankets to fully support the body in passive, long-held floor poses. By eliminating physical effort, we invite the muscles to release and the mind to quieten. The practice culminates in Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep.” This guided meditation induces deep relaxation, leaving you refreshed and centered. Perfect for stress, burnout, or a total reset.
Studio Session: Fifth Sunday 7:30 p.m.
Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Fifth Sunday 7:30 pm

Yin Yoga is a meditative, floor-based practice designed to complement more active styles of exercise. Inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, this class focuses on a series of long-held, passive poses that target the body’s deep connective tissues rather than the muscles. This practice is the perfect antidote for when you feel tired, over-stimulated, or find your energy to be erratic. By leaning into stillness, you create space to quiet an overactive mind and regulate the nervous system.
Small Group Studio Session: Monday 6:00 p.m.
Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Friday 12:30 p.m.

Surrender to deep restoration in this indulgent Yin session. Melt into floor-based, supported postures for 3–5 minutes to nourish connective tissues and release deep-seated tension. Elevate your practice with Pure Energy Therapy, a high-vibrational healing that clears blockages and activates your ascension. Align your physical body with higher frequencies for a profound cellular shift. This session is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, increase flexibility, and accelerate their spiritual growth.

Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Fifth Saturday 7:30 p.m.

Yin Yang Yoga is a balanced practice in which to experience the power of duality. Yin is quiet and includes a series of deep, floor-based postures held for several minutes to target connective tissues and calm the nervous system. Yang is energizing, heat-building, and includes dynamic movements to improve circulation and strengthen muscles for functional strength and stability. This combination targets every layer of the body, and will leave you feeling both physically invigorated and mentally centered.
Small Group Studio Session: Tuesday 6:00 p.m.
Virtual Wellness Studio Session: Saturday 2:00 p.m.

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a profound practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry. Unlike traditional meditation where you sit upright, Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down in Savasana, making it accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability. Through a series of guided breathing techniques and body scans, you will move through various states of consciousness – from wakefulness to dreaming, and finally into a state of deep, dreamless sleep while remaining fully aware.
