Ayurveda Follow Up Consultation It is recommended you schedule an Ayurveda Follow Up Consultation 2 weeks to 2 months after your initial consultation so we can access and support positive health changes and optimize your health plan. Bhakti Meditation Series Thursday 8:30 am -This 16 week meditation course contains essential teachings designed to guide both the beginner and experienced student. Following a short, gentle asana sequence to help find comfort in the body, you will practice mindfulness exercises, mantra, and meditations to be continued on a daily basis until our next meeting. True Beginner’s Yoga Monday 9:00 am – This is for the beginner who isn’t comfortable in a mixed level class. We focus on fundamental poses, using props to explore different variations and developing a new level of body awareness and connection to breath. Here we realize our bodies are uniquely made and begin to understand that yoga is more than a one size fits all type of exercise. Postures, Pranayama & Practices Monday 1:00 pm – This BKS Iyengar inspired traditional yoga class brings balance and healing into all layers of your being by implementing Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga. Studio Session Virtual Visit
Balance, Breath, Being Monday 6:30 pm – This class is inspired by my studies within the lineage of Sivananda Yoga which is dedicated to the teaching of classical yoga and vedanta to promote physical, mental and spiritual health. We explore core teachings of four paths of classical yoga and make the wisdom of the ancient sages easily accessible to beginners and the more experienced yogi alike. Studio Session Virtual Visit
Yin Yoga Monday 9:00 am & Wednesday 8:00 pm – This class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine, penetrating deep into the connective tissues. Yin Yoga is for you if you are tired, over-stimulated, when your energy is too erratic, your mind overactive, whether you are craving for energy or you feel you have too much of it. Meditation Exploration Sunday 2:00 pm – This Studio class includes a short, gentle yoga asana practice to help prepare your body for coming into stillness. Various styles of meditation will be explored. Meditation Exploration is for those who desire a calmer mind, better health and improved mood, as well as for those who wish to withdraw inward to develop a deeper relationship with his or her true nature. Healing Heartbreak First Sunday of the Month 4:00 pm – This Karma Sunday Self-Care class focuses on the grieving heart using yoga and other mindfulness techniques to gently move through heartbreak with love and support. Studio Session Virtual Visit
Meditation Session (or Yoga Nidra) Second Sunday of the Month 4:00 pm – Calm your mind. Ease your emotions. Soothe your soul. During this monthly Karma Sunday Self-Care meditation session you’ll develop mindfulness techniques, breath practices, and an awareness of the importance of being present in the moment. Or you may experience Yoga Nidra, in which the body is completely relaxed through a guided meditation and expands the individual’s self-awareness. Studio Session Virtual Visit
Heal Thyself Third Sunday of the Month 4:00 pm – This is a monthly Karma Sunday Self-Care yoga class especially designed to help those recovering from eating disorders or body image issues. Restorative Yoga with Yoga Nidra Fourth Sunday of the Month 4:00 pm – This monthly Karma Sunday Self-Care class typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Poses are held 5 minutes or more, and include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. Workout® This online group fitness class allows you to channel your inner rockstar with this full-body cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Instead of listening to music, you BECOME the music in this exhilarating, full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.
