Prakrti’s Ayurvedic Workshops are designed to bring you better understanding of Yoga’s Sister Science. Ayurveda teaches how to bring harmony into every level of our being by using preventative measures, eating a diet appropriate for each individual, living a lifestyle that brings balance and joy, and incorporating energetical and spiritual aspects for full and total holistic wellbeing.

Each of the 12 workshops are available for in three different formats, so you can choose which fits your needs best.

January 28 @ 10:15 am – Throughout this workshop, you will discover your unique Ayurvedic vikruti, along with how to design a cleansing and detoxification program tailored to your uniqueness.

February 12 @ 8:30 am – In this workshop you are offered an introduction to Ayurveda; key Ayurvedic habits that promote immunity; some herbal and cleansing techniques that you can start practicing at home immediately; and how to reduce anxiety using Ayurveda.

March 12 @ 8:30 am – In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. You’ll learn both the scientific and spiritual benefits to practicing Yoga Nidra. After a journaling exercise, you’ll be guided into a deeply restorative, 45 minute meditation. By the end of the workshop, you will feel a shift in wellbeing, and you’ll be equipped with a new tool to combat stress, anxiety and fatigue.

April 16 @ 8:30 am – In this workshop, you will discover your unique Ayurvedic mind and body type and current imbalances.; how to choose a diet and lifestyle that aligns with your unique Ayurvedic constitution; and how to optimize your energy and digestion by living in alignment with circadian rhythm.

June 14 @ 8:30 am – During this workshop, you will discover your unique Ayurvedic digestive type and how to feel better in your body by eating in alignment with your Ayurvedic constitution and using Ayurvedic herbs and spices that heal the body inside-out.

September 17 at 8:30 am – In this workshop, you will examine the five layers of your existence and become aware of how these sheaths or koshas range from the densest part of your being (the body) to the most vast and subtle (inner joy/peace). In becoming aware of, and examining these aspects of your being, you can bring your life into balance and integration to fully come into your true nature.

October 15 at 8:30 am – This workshop will introduce you to the five main Vayus (Pancha Pranas) or subtle energetic forces within the body. Each Vayu moves in a specific direction to control bodily functions and activities. By learning how to balance each Vayu and bring them into harmony with each other, you will create optimal health and well-being and positively influence your physical, emotional and mental health and wellness.

November 12 at 8:30 am – In this workshop, get to know the seven major Chakras. Each concentrated energy center is a catalyst of consciousness and human function, with each one governing specific emotional issues, from survival instincts and self-esteem to communication and love. You will learn how a chakra that is not functioning properly can create dis-ease or illness. You will discover how your wellbeing on all levels can affect and is affected by the chakras, while developing techniques to help bring your chakras into balance.
