Take as many classes as you would like per month for $30 the first month, and $100 per month thereafter with no long term contract. Sunday Meditation

2nd Sunday 4:00 pm – Calm your mind. Ease your emotions. Sooth your soul. During this monthly Sunday Self-Care meditation session you’ll develop mindfulness techniques, breath practices, and an awareness of the importance of being present in the moment. Yoga nidra is a deep relaxation technique and a form of meditation where you’ll experience a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed through a guided meditation. and expands the individual’s self-awareness. Registration is Required.

Sunday Meditation (1)

3rd Sunday 4:00 pm – This monthly Karma Sunday Self-Care yoga especially designed to help those recovering from eating disorders or body image issues. However, other recovering addicts are more than welcome to join this small group. This monthly class will explore The Eight Limbs of Yoga along with principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. Registration is Required,

Restorative

4th Sunday 4:00 pm – This monthly Sunday Self-Care class typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Poses are held 5 minutes or more, and include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. Class will end with a guided Yoga Nidra to help promote even deeper rest. All levels welcome, but registration is required.

Kindalini Yoga

Monday 11:30 – In Kundalini Yoga, taught by Claudia, we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul. This technique precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul.

Monday 1:00 pm – This class includes practices from Ayurveda, Yoga’s Sister Science, and from Traditional Chinese Medicine to help bring balance and healing into all the layers of your being through asana, mudra, meditation, nutrition and healthy lifestyle tips. There may also be discussion of Deity/God/Goddess, Chakras, Moon Phases, and Quotes from Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita.

Monday 5:30 pm – This alignment based class is perfect for the true beginner who isn’t quite yet comfortable joining in with a mixed level class. Focus is on fundamental poses, using props to explore different variations.

Yin Yoga 75

Tuesday 12:30 pm – This class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine, penetrating deep into the connective tissues. Yin Yoga is for you if you are tired, over-stimulated, when your energy is too erratic, your mind overactive, whether you are craving for energy or you feel you have too much of it.

Tuesday 7:30 pm – This class includes a short, gentle yoga asana practice to help prepare your body for coming into stillness. Various styles of meditation will be explored. No experience necessary. This class is for those who desire better health and improved mood, as well as for those who wish to withdraw inward to develop a deeper relationship with his or her true nature. There will be opportunity to share and discuss experiences within the meditation community.

Friday 12:45 – Jen teaches this yoga class for bodies of all shapes and sizes for those new to yoga or wanting a basic flow class. This class implements poses and modifications for a curvier form and introduces fundamental yoga postures, teaches how to breathe and helps you feel more comfortable in your yoga practice. Jen stresses “You don’t have to have a “yoga body” to benefit from yoga.” Join us in the judgement-free yoga zone.

Saturday 4:15 pm – This invigorating Vinyasa yoga class is inspired by principles of Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, and Somatics.

Thursday 6:00 pm – This class introduces 12- 15 year olds to yoga poses, breathing techniques, hand gestures, and other mindfulness practices. At Prakrti Yoga, we strive to ensure that yoga is accessible to everyone. If a student truly desires a class they are unable to afford, a scholarship might be awarded if we feel they qualify.

Additionally, I also provide Yoga services to several community programs on a volunteer basis, because from my own experiences, I believe in the Power of Yoga and know how it can change lives. To the best of my ability, I will continue to serve God and my community in this way.

Finally, In honor of my oldest son, Christopher, a portion of donations are also presented to National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

If you have benefited in even the slightest of ways from your own yoga practice and would like to Pay It Forward, your Karma Donations will go a long way in helping others heal and change the quality of their lives through Yoga.
